Hinckley Casino Hotel

We didn't stay in a room, they do have rooms available however. The Casino has a smoking section with slots and you can go to the non-smoking slot area as well. The games all look fairly new and all of what I played, worked well. The machines don't pay with coins now, they give you a ticket you can cash in with a cashier or by using one of the floor "atms" to cash your tickets in at. The Casino is clean and the restrooms are well-stocked and very clean as well. It's a very nice Casino to visit. They have refreshment stands in numerous places and you can serve yourself with coffee or soda pop.

This was our first time to Hinkley. It was very clean, helpful staff, and lots of food options/drinks and games to play. My only complaint would be the beds were not the most comfortable and it seems like the smoking area lingers into the non-smoking areas otherwise it was a great experience.

Hotel Review - Room 616 Experience I recently stayed in Room 616, which was clean and well-maintained, but unfortunately, there were a few issues that impacted our stay. The first thing we noticed when we entered the room was a broken bed frame. While we didn’t report it because the hotel was fully booked and we knew we wouldn’t get any resolution, the bed itself wasn’t very comfortable either, and it made for a less-than-ideal sleep experience. On a positive note, the blackout curtains were a fantastic touch! They helped create a dark, quiet environment for a more restful night, which was much appreciated. The pool area looked beautiful, but the chlorine levels were so high that as soon as you entered the area, your eyes started burning. It definitely impacted our ability to enjoy the pool, which was disappointing. One more issue to note was the confusion regarding the pet policy. When I made my reservation, I was told pets were allowed, but upon arrival, I learned that this wasn’t the case. Thankfully, I managed to find someone to watch my dog at the last minute, but it could have been a real problem if I hadn’t. Overall, while the room was nice, the issues with the bed, pool, and the pet confusion made this stay less than perfect.

We stayed in a beautiful king suite room. Very comfortable. The room had two televisions. A large bathroom with his and her sinks a big shower. Also had a nice fireplace. Which was a special touch in the cool evenings. A very cozy room.

Absolutely love this casino, it's what I'd consider my Home location for gaming, decent slots and absolutely awesome suites to stay in, food is better then most casinos in Minnesota and the staff hands down is amazing from Deb at cashier office to Janelle in Buffett area, people like Linda in Provisions all make the exp one to remember,

Hotel is nice. Room was clean. Short on towels but extra were given without issue. Coffee in the room is horrible. View from our particular room on 2nd floor was of a rooftop.

I’ve only been to 2 other casinos, so I’m certainly not as experienced as many. However; Hinckley Casino is very nice. Very clean. No worries if you forgot to bring your Casino card- wonderful Assistants can create a new one for you, in only 5 minutes. The carpet is clean, and looks new. Cheerful colors, unlike casinos that have really dark carpet. For smokers- there is a very large area, with several machines. It still smelled rather fresh. No accumulated smoke. Ashtrays are cleaned as soon as the smoker goes to a different machine.

Middle of nowhere, service... let's see .. if you make a reservation online expect it to be messed up when you check in. The bartenders are great, they will banter with you & give it back just the same which I can appreciate. The rooms are much nicer than they used to be, now they just need to update the inn & chalets. They have done lots with landscaping & in the works projects lately. I will say, they should definitely have draft party or game events with catering or something off the floor to enjoy vs 1 TV at the bar without volume to watch the draft. Even then I had to ask for the tenders to turn it on, lucky they are gracious. My only other comment would be that some of the machines are SO loud & you can't turn them down. It's deafening. Decibel wise even on the lowest volume available. Otherwise I would say that they have good promotions & better than average events to both attend & get as perks on your weekends. I'll add that Ned is fantastic & looks like a movie star too! He is so patient & kind.
